Terms of Use
By using the CUSP website or engaging CUSP for speech pathology services, you agree to the terms set out below.
About these terms
These terms govern your use of cusp.social ("the site") and the speech pathology services offered by Creative Umbrella Speech Pathology ("CUSP", "we", "us", "our"). We may update these terms from time to time; the current version always lives at this URL.
The information on this site
The content on this site is general in nature and is provided for information only. It is not clinical advice and is not a substitute for an assessment by a qualified health professional. Nothing on this site creates a clinician-client relationship. That relationship begins when you engage us for an assessment or session and we agree, in writing, to provide services.
Referrals and bookings
Submitting the referral form on this site is an expression of interest. It does not guarantee a place in a program, a session time, or acceptance as a client. We will be in touch to confirm whether we can take the referral, what is available, and any next steps.
Fees and cancellations
Fees are quoted before services begin and are payable on the agreed terms. We accept NDIS funding where applicable. Cancellation, missed-session and rescheduling terms are set out in our service agreement, provided before your first session.
Your responsibilities
You agree to use the site lawfully and not to interfere with its operation, attempt to access areas not made available to you, or submit information that you are not entitled to share. If you make a referral on behalf of another person, you confirm that you have their consent (or appropriate authority) to provide their information to us.
Intellectual property
The text, images, design and other content on this site are owned by CUSP or used with permission. You may view, download and print pages for personal, non-commercial use. Any other use, including reproduction, republication, or use in marketing materials, requires our written permission.
Third-party links
Where this site links to third-party websites (for example, published research, Instagram, or external referral forms), we do so for your convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy or privacy practices.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, CUSP is not liable for any loss arising from your use of this site or reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms excludes any rights or guarantees you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Complaints and feedback
If you have a concern about our services, please contact us first. We take feedback seriously and will work with you to resolve it. You can also raise concerns about speech pathology services with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra) or Speech Pathology Australia.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any dispute will be heard in the courts of Victoria.
